DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
The _m_p_a_c_k program encodes the the named file in one or more
MIME messages. The resulting messages are mailed to one or
more recipients, written to a named file or set of files, or
posted to a set of newsgroups.
OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
----ssss _s_u_b_j_e_c_t
Set the SSSSuuuubbbbjjjjeeeecccctttt header field to _S_u_b_j_e_c_t. By default,
mmmmppppaaaacccckkkk will prompt for the contents of the subject
header.
----dddd _d_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n_f_i_l_e
Include the contents of the file _d_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n_f_i_l_e in an
introductory section at the beginning of the first
generated message.
----mmmm _m_a_x_s_i_z_e
Split the message (if necessary) into partial messages,
each not exceeding _m_a_x_s_i_z_e characters. The default
limit is the value of the SSSSPPPPLLLLIIIITTTTSSSSIIIIZZZZEEEE environment
variable, or no limit if the environment variable does
not exist. Specifying a _m_a_x_s_i_z_e of 0 means there is no
limit to the size of the generated message.
----cccc _c_o_n_t_e_n_t-_t_y_p_e
Label the included file as being of MIME type _c_o_n_t_e_n_t-
_t_y_p_e, which must be a subtype of aaaapppppppplllliiiiccccaaaattttiiiioooonnnn, aaaauuuuddddiiiioooo,
iiiimmmmaaaaggggeeee, or vvvviiiiddddeeeeoooo. If this switch is not given, mmmmppppaaaacccckkkk
examines the file to determine its type.
----oooo _o_u_t_p_u_t_f_i_l_e
Write the generated message to the file _o_u_t_p_u_t_f_i_l_e. If
the message has to be split, the partial messages will
instead be written to the files _o_u_t_p_u_t_f_i_l_e.01,
_o_u_t_p_u_t_f_i_l_e.02, etc.
----nnnn _n_e_w_s_g_r_o_u_p_s
Post the generated message(s) to the comma-separated
netnews _n_e_w_s_g_r_o_u_p_s.
